Repositioning brand video
Following streamlining its identity into a single brand, Orbit – one of the UK’s leading housing associations – asked us to create a video to bring to life its ‘building communities’ mission.

Showcasing the group’s range of housing and care services, the video needed to reflect Orbit heritage and profit-for-purpose values as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, with the aim to inspire staff, customers and stakeholders alike.
Our starting point was to develop a film concept around sharing real-life stories, whilst using the new visual language of the Orbit ‘O’ as a physical devise to bring the narrative to life and ensure a strong brand presence. Our work also included storyboarding, shoot management and art direction on set and in post-production.
The result shows the impact Orbit has in the communities it serves, in a simple yet powerful way. Circular visual cues subtly reflect the new brand with emotive stories from staff, partners and residents unpacking the positive impact of Orbit’s work from the varying perspectives of the people it serves.
The completed brand film was successfully launched at group roadshows and was well-received by more than 1,200 staff from front-line to director level. It is now being used to as a core asset to support the single brand positioning and reinforce Orbit’s position as a leading housing services provider.
