Helping great UK grains go global
Our initial brief was to refresh EDME’s brand identity, update its marketing material and create fresh names for new products. We also created and launched a brand new, image-rich website to promote the brand and products online. In our retained marketing role, we provide copywriting, email, marketing consultancy, graphic design, film and digital services to help EDME reach its target audiences effectively. EDME was named Rural Business of the Year in the Anglian Business Awards 2012, recognising the company’s commitment to local producers and investment in people.
We designed an updated logo to highlight the company’s modern proposition of innovating ‘through evolution not revolution’. It was important not to lose sight of EDME’s strong brand heritage, while making it look and feel crisp and contemporary. The new visual branding was rolled across a new website, corporate brochure and a range of new product names. To avoid unnecessary cost, we made sure that the company’s vehicle livery, signage and product packaging could be updated in a phased way.

For the new website, we worked with EDME’s team to design the structure, re-write content and overhaul the design. Alongside traditional navigation, we built in a slider tool and colour-coded product links. This allows users to find out more detail on specific products quickly and easily.
