EBLEX (the English Beef and Lamb Executive) is part of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board. It exists to enhance the profitability and sustainability of the English beef and sheep meat industry. We provide design, communications and events services to help the organisation communicate with a broad range of audiences to stimulate demand and support research and marketing.

Backing England’s best food and farming

Our branding, design and digital work has helped to promote and position EBLEX as the leading agency for the beef and lamb sector. We have a framework agreement that spans producing industry reports and other publications, a regular ezine, support for national and regional events and website development.

Following recent concerns about horsemeat appearing in prepared food and meals, the industry needs a strong voice to rebuild confidence among consumers, retailers and producers. With our help, EBLEX offers the expert reassurance people want.

design for print

Graphic design we’ve completed for EBLEX includes annual stakeholder publications, leaflets and advertisements; often featuring high-impact, bespoke infographics and word clouds to catch the eye and drive home key messages.

new feature-rich website

With its new website, EBLEX wanted to engage meat producers, media contacts and business stakeholders with, real-time data on markets, weather forecasts and live news from several sources. The client also wanted an integrated event booking system and to boost its social media presence.

We stripped the thousands of pages of existing content right back to create clear and simple customer journeys across the new site. A new blog and social media links were created, alongside live feeds to industry information and a weather widget. This was all backed up by easy-to-use content management system.

The new EBLEX website is colourful, attractive and highly accessible, with improved navigation, which delivers strong analytics. In its first six months of use, the site had a 14 per cent bounce rate on more than 50,000 page views.
