The Allianz Group is a global financial services provider, with around 142,000 staff worldwide. Allianz is Germany’s market-leading insurance provider and also has a strong presence in the UK. For the British Insurers Brokers Association (BIBA) conference and exhibition, the company asked us to build an interactive game to promote its ‘Insurance from A-Z’ campaign and capture data about prospective customers.

The branded Allianz conundrum game ran on both PCs and iPads as part of the company’s BIBA exhibition stand. It acted as a highly effective way to attract and engage delegates, who by playing the game left their contact details for further follow up.

Users were tested on their skill and accuracy by correctly identifying an insurance-related word from random conundrum puzzles solved by dragging letters into the correct order. A high scorer table added the competitive edge.

Creating and installing the game involved close, joint working with the exhibition audio-visual company. To build on the success of the game, we were subsequently commissioned to roll out a version for internal use.

We needed a simple and quick game that would engage some of the 4,000 people that attend the annual BIBA conference. With only a short time period to engage with delegate, the game needed to be straight to the point and able to provide us with data. Creative Bridge interpreted our brief and produced a solution which was ideal for our target market – so much so we have used it at a number of events since. The game was delivered on time in budget and we felt the support we received from the team was first class.
